Can I customize the home page?
You can customize the look of your PipelineDeals home page by dragging a module to a new location. You can move each module up or down or between columns. You can also expand and collapse each module.

Can I forward/bcc/cc email copies to my contacts’ or deals’ pages in PipelineDeals?
Yes. You can use your PipelineDeals inbox on the Home Page. Your inbox is your place where emails can be forwarded or blind copied (BCC’d) from your default email client such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or Microsoft Outlook into PipelineDeals to be associated with a deal or a contact. To send an email to your inbox:

  1. BCC or forward to your special email address: yourusername@pipelinedeals.com and the email will be forwarded and a note created.
  2. If we cannot find the contact, you can simply associate it to a deal or contact directly.

NOTE: You can also send emails with attachments right to your email inbox. The attachments can be associated to a deal and will display both on the deals page and the documents page.

Weekly Agenda

How do I use the weekly agenda?
The weekly agenda is a look at your upcoming seven (7) days of to-dos and events associated with your sales activities. You can sort you agenda by action - which provides you a quick list of calls to make, emails/faxes to send, appointments and to-dos.

What happens to items that I don’t complete?
Items that are not completed by their due date will be classified as “Late”. You can see a quick list of late items from your agenda. Click on the “Late Items” link on the upper left of the agenda. Late Items are also highlighted in pink on your deals page and contacts profile page.

Assigned Leads Module

How does the assigned leads module work?
When a lead is assigned to you, you will receive an email notification with a note. That lead also shows up in your Assigned leads module on your home page.

You can work on the lead and document your notes on the contact profile page. To go to the contact profile screen, click on the lead name in the Assigned Leads box.

How do I delete a lead from my home page?
The lead will be removed from your home page after you have qualified it by creating a deal. You can also delete the lead in contacts.

Will leads created and sent in via email show up on the home page?
Yes.

Sales Dashboard

What is the sales dashboard?
Your sales dashboard allows you to see some important metrics related to your sales pipeline. You can see Deals By Stage, By Status, Monthly and YTD Commissions, Number of Deals in each stage, Monthly and YTD Revenue.

Simply use the previous and next links to move between the graphs. You can set your default chart and default commission rate on the My Settings page.

Can I change the default chart in my sales dashboard?
Yes. You can set the default chart in the My Settings screen.

Why do I see data for only 5 deals in the rollover for the pipeline charts?
We limit the data in the rollover to the 5 largest deals in your sales pipeline.

Can I filter the charts to just show my own data and not my teams’ data?
Not just yet. By default, we are showing you data associated with all of the deals that you have visibility to. (e.g. your deals plus those of your team)

Latest Activities

What are latest activities?
Latest Activities show key events that have taken place for you and your team over the last 7 days. For example, if you sign a deal, change a deal status, add a note, or complete some to-dos, those events will display in the latest activities box.

The latest activities can also be received as a daily email. Just enable on the My Settings page. You can also get the latest activities in an RSS feed.

Can I filter the latest activities to just show my own data and not my teams’ data?
Not just yet. By default, we are showing you the latest activities associated with all of the deals that you have visibility to. (e.g. your deals plus those of your team)

How do I use RSS feeds?
This feature is not yet live. RSS feeds (really simple syndication) allow you to keep up to date with all PipelineDeals sales activities. You can see the latest activities or you weekly agenda using any RSS feeder such as Google, Safari or NetVibes.
